What is Dermapen Micro Needling?
The Dermapen 3MD™ offers a much gentler, faster and more effective treatment than other cosmetic micro needling devices such as rollers. Inspired by acupuncture needles, each Dermapen™ cartridge holds twelve tiny needles which stimulate collagen production through the skin’s natural wound healing response. This is a wonderful technology for both men and women.
Treatments are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Depending on your concerns, you should see results after 3 to 6 treatments.

You may experience redness similar to the appearance of a slight sunburn and warmth for 1-2 days after treatment. Dryness can also occur and you are encouraged to moisturize your skin.

Every 4-8 weeks depending on your specific concerns. Dermapen™ facials can also be a part of your regular skin care maintenance regimen, and a treatment once every 2 months is recommended.

As the natural process of collagen development is progressive, you may notice results over the course of 3-4 months. Optimal outcomes are seen after 4 back to back treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). More dramatic scarring will take longer to reduce.

You may feel some mild discomfort during your session. Most clients do not need an anesthetizing cream, but I offer option to include a topical numbing cream.
